shexy

this is really good dude! real nice bass drum and an interesting structure. i loved the way you took off the arpeggiator @ 2:00

awesome NG track. 9/10 easy.

this is your best yet

your fusion of modern and classical is what your best at. i keep thinking.......shit, is that a synth or is that real? the only thing that sounds synthetic is the bass. id like to know if im right or not =]

ofcourse 10 for this

pmintz responds:

Most of them are real.
since i use garage band, there are a lot of real instrument sounds.
i like those better too.

i like

the fact your using real instruments in your tracks, that instantly sets it appart from others. and fusing them with synths is one of the most creative forms of music imo.
i dont like the scale your using though, but thats just me. i like epicness + cheese =p

keep at it, its good to see someone whos not afraid to mix things up.

pmintz responds:

i love to mix it up.
What scale do you mean? sorry im ignorant to "technical" music terms since i dont have any other musical talents.

firstly ill say that whoring off your stuff is usfull to anyone who may be interested in hearing more of what you have, and that the comment box is far to large to start with >.<
but i will agree with the fact this fits perfectly with NG. ANd would like to stress how important that is, i hate listening to things on NG that just dont fit with the NG culture.
-review of track-

awesome tremolo synth and AWESOME part when the drums come in again at 1:00 ish with the lead synth. what grabed me most about this track is the violins (or violas?) they really made the track sound authentic.
got a little repetitive after a while and would love to see some sort of structure after the drums came in for the second time onwards. putting vocals here?

good job 9/10

feeling it

your use of the minor scale was spot on industrial style =]
great build, left me wanting more.

10/10

moar please!

kickboxer89 responds:

thank you for the review. glad to read you feel it! its a pretty old piece though...
i should try to do something similar now that I know more about music!

crazy

this makes me wanna strut into a supermarket and tare down the shelvs.........maybe its just me.
some nice textures in there but im sensing the tracks been pushed to its limit volume wise and im hearing distorts here and there.
still, its an 8 easy.

make moar!

feeling the energy

im loving how it starts but why does it go quiet after? needs moar loud!
very nice use of synths, especially the background one with the reso @ 1:30
if you could pack more punch from the kit it would make all the difference i think.
8 easy

good job dude

Hades responds:

Damn, just now I've realized I haven't responded on this one. :P It lost a whole lot of volume due to the loudness of the bass which sucked out the strength out of pretty much anything else (including the drumkit). I'm not really a pro at FL, so I couldn't aid the problem. Thanks for commenting, and sorry for taking so long to respond.

panning epicness

awesome sounds happening here. clashing sounds of machinery combined with an awesome kick drum earns my 10.

nice job dude.

Nin meets cowboys and indians

a unique sound and its gained my respect. 10/10

reminds me of an old cowboy and indian film thats been industrial'ed up =]

awesome track

real nice and dreamy.the quality is that of a proffesional standard and im loving the chord sequence. AND you broke the golden never change tempo rule right at the end with it sounding good =]

10/10 and 5/5 to you sir

cycerin responds:

Haha I just turned the tempo knob down with the program recording. Luckily it didn't sound like shit! Thanks for the review!
